American Brother Foundation Suspending Operations at the end of 2025

After nearly 7 years of service to our military families and veterans, ABF will wind down operations
Daytona Beach, Florida (November 1, 2025)– American Brother Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to helping veterans in need and providing scholarships to military families, announces today the planned suspension of its operations by December 31, 2025. This decision comes after careful consideration of the organization’s overall ability to effectively continue making a positive impact.
Since its founding in 2019, ABF has helped numerous veterans in need and provided over twenty scholarships to military families. Throughout the journey, ABF has strived to make a positive difference in veteran’s and military family’s needs.
“We felt it was important to let our community of supporters know as soon as our decision was finalized,” says Founder, Elisa Camara. “We want to wind things down on our terms. Everyone involved in this organization is extremely proud of the work they have done here. But I knew when I started this, that at some point we would have to wrap it up.”
ABF is a grassroots-operated organization that relies on the unwavering commitment and support of its dedicated Board, volunteers, and donors and looks forward to finishing the year off strongly.
“The United States will always have citizens who volunteer to put themselves into harm’s way for our freedoms, and we should always be grateful for their service and sacrifice,” says ABF Board Member Jeff Hughey. “We hope that our organization has inspired a new generation of supporters to continue finding ways to show our nation’s appreciation,” says ABF Board Member Jennifer Warren.
As ABF winds down its operations, it will work diligently to ensure a smooth conclusion. The ABF Board would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone who has been part of the journey.
